Free Coding Resources
This may come as a surprise to many of you, but you don’t need a 4-year degree to be a software developer. You need to have a desire to learn and the knack for problem-solving. Below are resources that I have used and that I would recommend starting with since they are free.
Paid Resources for Coding
After you get comfortable with the free resources and the idea of what coding is, I suggest moving into the paid resources. The reason I suggest that route is because it is a good idea to get a feel for what programming is and if you will like it or not before you start spending money on it. Below are some great paid resources that either I have used or have heard great things about.
Being a software developer opens the door to may different types of opportunities. You have the ability to work in any field of your choice. If you are someone who likes to make your own schedule or work remote, then being a software developer might be the right fit for you.
