Bug Bounty Hunting
Bug bounty hunting may be something NEW to you but isn’t new to the world of programming and you can actually make some pretty decent money, I am talking $100,000 for just one bug. Unlike testing software, this particular side hustle is going to take extensive programming knowledge usually in many different areas. Below are a few sites where you can find bounty programs that will offer users monetary rewards for finding and fixing bugs. There are massive tech giants that will pay top dollar for software developers and hackers to find vulnerabilities in their systems. Start a tech blog, maybe like this one. There isn’t going to be money in it right away but over time as you build up a following and continually produce great content there is money to be made. You can either put ads on your site which will make money based on traffic or you can work with brands and produce content for them on your site. I have done the ladder of the two and it is quite fun. You can get to put your own flavor and spin into different products and get paid to try them out and write about them.
Amazon Affiliate
Becoming an Amazon Affiliate is pretty painless. You set up an Amazon account, which I assume most of you have, I don’t know where I would be without my Prime account. Here is a link to instructions on exactly how to set it up. Essentially you create a page on Amazon with links to the stuff you purchase and if people make purchases through your links you make money. Kinda neat!
Create Your Own Course
Creating a course about a topic you know and selling it is a great way to make extra money that in turn can turn into passive income. This does take a lot of upfront work but can be worth it in the long run. This is something I have done in the past and might still do in the future. It is a fun way to dive deeper into a particular topic and make money by sharing what you know.
